When the Loraks is Armed - a game for Voidsay

I made a top down rouge litey shooter in like 2 weeks for the 2021 Secret Santa Jam. It lacks a bitof polish, and like, 2 acts, and also a boss from the end of act I, but hey, it shipped! Maybe I will revisit it in the future.

-------------------------------

When the people from Castle Moneybags kidnap all the critters in the forest for purposes too gruesome to write down here, its on Loraks, the Forest Guardian, to take their trusty blaster and save the day.

Cool game! The player's weapon feels so satisfying! I'm also really impressed by the versatility of the weapon modding system.

There is some problems with the ui scaling; the UI is really tiny on my screen. I also wish there were more SFX.

I like it.

I mean, it has its obvious problems that could be resolved with more polish, but the movement of the player character is smooth and the shooting is fun.

Definitely something I'll play much more of :D

Well done!

(Also, those poor critters on that horrible menu. Nice touch.)
